Now You abide in us and we in You.
Now we are one with You and each other
Because of Your spirit and Your father’s love.
For we are children of God.
I am filled and inspired with the readings for the month of May. They are about us being entwined together with each other and ultimately, with God. Wow! Pretty special message! I recently read a devotion that shared about a man who read the Gospels for the first time and began to weep. “Asked why, he said, ‘I have just read about a man named Jesus, who went about doing good, and I realize that I just go about.’”
One of the most special attributes of Spirit of Joy members is that they don’t just “go about.” What a special family we are! I would like to especially thank our “family members” who are involved with choir, festival choir, instruments, contemporary worship leadership, administration, and overall support of music ministry. It is truly evident that you live in God’s love.
Special music in May includes Bruce Brown on clarinet, accompanied by Karen Zajac, and Bryce Harrison singing from The Messiah, also accompanied by Karen Zajac. You won’t want to miss those events at 8:15! For those of you who prefer a less traditional service, be sure to try the 9:45 service, led by Bryce and Brittany.
You are always welcome in our music groups!

The 2010 Christmas Cantata was brilliant. View this slide show to see the many members who worked so hard to bring a Christmas-worthy production.
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
