A scribe once asked Jesus,
"What is the most important commandment of all?"
"The most important is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'"
Jesus was not making this up. He quoted Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (one of the books of the Law). Obviously, he took this commandment pretty seriously. And no wonder: look at the next two verses:
"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)
This Family Resources section will help you to diligently teach your children about God's love and how we in turn can love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength.
Over the coming months we'll post resources and material for family devotionals, Bible study, observance of the Church calendar, and what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
