Last Saturday morning a few hearty souls (and myself) wandered out to the property to do some storm water cleanup, which involved moving sandbags, soggy haybales, mud, buried plastic, and wheelbarrows of silt. It really didn't take us too long and when nearly done, I skipped out to shoot a little video with the drone. Sorry guys for dropping my shovel a few minues early. Harvey Payne, 28 Jan 2017
On Saturday, February 11, we'll need your help again to to install straw wattles for on-going erosion control. (The February 4 work date was postponed.) This is not heavy work; but since they must be staked to the ground every two feet, there will be a lot of pounding to do. So break out your short and long sledge hammers and your work clothes and boots and set your alarm so you can join us on the land at 8:00 on Saturday morning.
