Youth Notes
SOJ Girls at "Anchored in Love"

Happy fall, friends and families of Spirit of Joy Church!
What a blessing it is to share with you the fun adventures our children and youth have been and will be embarking on.
CHILDREN’S
At KidsKLUB our Superheroes Unmasked series has been teaching us that God uses ordinary, every day people to do extraordinary things when they partner with Him.  He did it with the Bible greats and he’s doing it with us!  Our series wraps up on November 4th from 4-6 pm with our Open House. We invite all parents and kids to join us for dinner and celebration. Click here for more information.
Join us October 31st as Spirit of Joy opens its doors to participate in Main Street Trick or Treating from 3-6 pm. Sponsored by our Evangelism Committee, we’ll have games, candy, and more fun than you can handle.
YOUTH
From Magic Mountain, the young girls’ Anchored in Love Conference, and launching High School Small Groups,  to junior high and high school Halloween Parties and the Gungor concert at the end of the month, October is jam packed with awesome.
On Sunday evenings Junior Highers continue in their study of Worship… when we realize what God has done for us, we respond by giving him our everything; worship is a lifestyle.
High schoolers are just beginning their “Surrender” study; a video series led by Francis Chan. We’ll be diving into the person Jesus is calling us to be when we surrender our lives to him, both on Tuesday Nights and at Sunday Small Group Brunch.
Blessings, Alyssa

Open Door Ministry
The Grange, Ramona, CA hosts Open Door Meals

On Monday, November 10 at 6:00pm Spirit of Joy Youth will serve Open Door Meals at the Grange. Open Door Ministry is a 21-year-old community-wide ministry of Ramona churches. Each Monday one church prepares and serves a healthy meal for our neighbors in need. Spirit of Joy serves four times a year in Feb, May, Aug, and Nov, and rotates this duty among Spirits of Grace, Men's Fellowship and Youth.
Open Door Meals is a great opportunity to serve and we encourage every young person in grades 6 and above to participate on November 10.
We're always looking for an extra pair of hands to help out, so please consider volunteering on any other night. Click Here for more information about Open Door Ministry.
