Palm Sunday is Here
2014 Christmas Cantata Choir

Don't miss "The Easter Story" on Sunday. Our gifted Choir has worked hard to prepare this year's Cantata. They will perform at both services. Come and enjoy the melodic fruits of their labor as we celebrate this season of our Lord's passion and resurrection.

Seder Supper

Celebrate the Seder with us Thursday, April 2 at 6:00pm in remembrance of Christ at His last Passover Seder... shortly before his arrest, trial, scourging, crucifixion and death on what is today called "Good Friday."

Following the Passover Seder we'll share a potluck meal.

Sign up on the kiosk.

Good Friday

They came to crucify a man... but sacrificed a Lamb. Behold the Lamb... the one who gives his life to set you free.

Join us for worship on Good Friday, April 3, 7pm .  It's always a very powerful moment in worship as we contemplate the passion of Christ.

Campaign Events Past & Future
Finished: VISION AWARENESS HOME MEETINGS
Vision Awareness meetings were well-attended and they generated much interest in and, we dare say, excitment about our Glorious Unfolding Capital Campaign. Participants have shared a variety of wonderful visions for our ministry at our new church home. At our April 19 Fellowship Event we'll hear a complete report on these ministry visions which reveal the strong desire of our church family to reach out and touch our neighbors with God's love and the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Finished: PRAYER VIGIL
The Prayer Vigil was highly successful: It touched and energized those who participated. Alyssa reported that many youth were so inspired and motivated through their first hour of prayer and listening to God that they stayed for a second hour. To continue our focus on prayer, please read, pray and share the scripture-based Prayer for our Church you'll find below the campaign events. Next week we'll share a different prayer.

April 15:

Advance Leadership Commitment Meeting
Meeting for those interested in making an advance leadership commitment. For more information, please contact Tom Aldern at t.aldern@cox.net.

April 19:

Church-wide Fellowship Event 5-7pm
This will be the most important and memorable event of our "Glorious Unfolding" Capital Campaign. You and your family are invited to the Family Fellowship Event Dinner on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. We will have a baked potato bar with lots of toppings, Mac'nCheese for the children, salad and dessert provided by the Spirits of Grace. There is no charge for this event so bring your entire family and be our guest. In keeping with the spirit of the evening, wear your "building" clothes – overalls, paint hat, hard hat, etc. and join in a fun evening.

Come early to catch a Hay Ride which will begin at 4 p.m. for the children and anyone wanting to join them. Dinner begins at 5 p.m. with great food, inspiration, information and fellowship. We will learn how we can support our building program and offer our own pledges. We look forward to seeing you there!

April 20-30:

Program Wrap Up
During this time we'll contact those who have further questions about their own support pledge. We'll discuss and pray with them and help them reach a decision.

May 3:

Victory Celebration
In all these things we are more than conquerors (to be completely and overwhelmingly victorious) through him who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NIV)
This single-service Sunday worship will celebrate our Victory in Christ, in all circumstances. (To see what we mean, take time to read verses 38-39. For that matter, read the entire Chapter 8 of Romans. You'll be glad you did.)

We will also bring our First Fruits offerings as we mark the beginning of our three-year pledge period.

Praying for Our Church
1Pet 5:6 Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves under Your mighty hand.
1Jn 1:9 Forgive us for our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness
Heb 10:22 Let us draw near to You with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Col 3:16 Let Your Word dwell in us richly.
Col 1:9-10 Fill us with the knowledge of Your will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that we may live and conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, and being fruitful in every good work.
Eph 4:23 And, by being renewed in the spirit of our minds,
Col 3:12 that we put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering: bearing with and forgiving one another.
Eph 4:13 That we dwell together in the unity of the faith,
1Thes 5:12-13 recognizing those who labor among us, esteeming them highly in love for their work's sake.
1Cor 1:10 I pray we all speak the same thing, with no divisions among us,
Phil 1:27 standing fast in one spirit, striving together for the faith.
Heb 13:9 That we're not carried about with various and strange doctrines,
2Tim 2:15 But we study, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Jude 1:16 That we're not murmurers, complainers, walking after our own lusts,
1Tim 6:18 but are rich in good works, ready to give and willing to share.
Eph 4:16 I pray that the whole body be knit and joined together, and that every part does its share causing growth to the body.
1Pet 4:10 As each one has received a gift, let him minister it,
Phil 2:4 looking out for the interests of others.
1Pet 1:22 Let us all fervently love one another with a pure heart,
2Jn 1:8 so that we do not lose the things we have worked for.
1Pet 4:7 Let us become serious and watchful in our prayers,
Eph 5:16 redeeming the time, for the days are evil.
Heb 12:1 Running with endurance the race that is set before us,
Col 3:2 setting our minds on things above and not on things on the earth.
Phil 3:14 But pressing toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God.
Eph 6:11 Putting on the whole armor of God that we may stand against the devil.
Acts 4:29-30 That we will speak forth Your Word with great boldness and that You will stretch forth Your hand to heal, that signs and wonders may be done in the name of Your Son Jesus.
